A Dean's List graduate of Fleming College, Peterborough, ON and a Paralegal licensed with the Law Society of Ontario. Roderic has 25 years of prior experience appearing before the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board and its predecessors, as part of his career as the Administrator / Property Manager of a non-profit housing development. Roderic has been part of the North Hastings community for 30 years and has a long history of volunteer involvement in the community. He was involved in several committees for the Hastings & Prince Edward District School Board in the 1990s, serving as Chair of the North Hastings Area School Study Committee. His participation in community theatre in the region is extensive, having performed with five different production companies as an actor and director and writing several plays that were performed for live audiences at the Village Playhouse in Bancroft. He has served on the Operating Committee for the Playhouse and as a member of the Board of the Algonquin Arts Council. Roderic held the position of President for the former North Hastings Access to Housing Corporation from 1993-96. Since 2011 he has served as Town Crier for two municipalities in the region, appearing in costume for many community events and historical commemorations and helping to raise money for the Alzheimer Society at their annual Walk For Memories event.
